Key issues to be covered include:

Theoretical Sessions

• Different types of control. (i.e. pressure reducing, pressure sustaining, flow control, and level control).
• Different makes of control valves (i.e. Dorot, Bermad, Cla-val, Baker etc).
• Basic operation of a control valve.
• Valve assembly (theoretical).

Practical Sessions

• Valve assembly (practical),
• Building hydraulic control circuit for a pressure reducing valve.
• Valve Setting.
• Valve Maintenance.
• Trouble Shooting.

The training will focus on the practical aspects of pressure reducing valves and other control valves. Examples of control valves will be available during the training exercise and each attendee will gain “hands-on” experience in assembling a control valve and the associated hydraulic control circuits.
